Acceptable Use Policy

Content standards: six prohibited categories

These rules apply to uploaded images and any content requested, generated, stored or shared through CatDance:

1. Pornography / NSFW: pornography, nudity, sexually suggestive images, sexual acts, sexualized animals or toys, and other adult sexual content. No adult-content exception is offered.
2. Violence / gore: graphic injuries, bloodshed, cruelty, abuse, or content promoting violence, terrorism, extremism or serious harm.
3. Hate speech: hateful symbols or messages, dehumanization, discriminatory harassment, or incitement against people based on protected characteristics.
4. Child-unsafe content / CSAM: child sexual abuse material, sexualization or exploitation of minors, and any other abusive or unsafe content involving children.
5. Deepfakes / impersonation: deceptive identity or endorsement claims, non-consensual synthetic depictions, and impersonation of real people. CatDance does not accept any real-person photos or likenesses.
6. Copyright / trademark infringement: unauthorized copies, protected characters, logos or other material used without the necessary rights or permission, including infringement of privacy or publicity rights. Upload only content you are authorized to use.

Illegal activity, dangerous wrongdoing (including instructions for weapons of mass destruction), fraud and attempts to evade moderation are also prohibited. Images and embedded text are screened before generation; rejected images do not proceed. Automated screening cannot establish every copyright or consent claim: you remain responsible for having the necessary rights. Report suspected violations with the task details to hello@catdance.app.

Review and enforcement

We may reject a request, prevent delivery, remove content, restrict features, or suspend or terminate an account when reasonably necessary to enforce this policy, protect people, investigate abuse, or comply with law. Measures will be proportionate where practical, considering the seriousness, frequency and risk of the conduct. We may preserve or report material when required by law or necessary to address serious harm.

Appeals and contact

If you believe a request was rejected or an account action was made in error, contact hello@catdance.app with the account email and relevant task details. We will review appeals in context and may ask for information needed to assess them. Nothing in this policy limits emergency reporting or rights required by applicable law.
